Roy Lee Pritchard, Jr.

Roy Lee Pritchard, Jr., 75, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at his family’s home in Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Pritchard, and sons Ronald, Mark and Ricky Pritchard as well as his father and mother Roy and Janet Pritchard.

He is survived by one daughter, Sue Beckman (Walter) of Enterprise, Alabama and one son Roy L. Pritchard (Cindy) of Cleveland, Tennessee. He is also survived by sisters; Jeri Harris, Claudia Dunn, and Debbie Vestal and brothers; Jimmy Pritchard and Bobby Pritchard. He is survived by grandchildren; Mark Beckman, Christine Richard, Lee Pritchard, Aaron Pritchard, Amanda Northrup, and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was an active member of the Old Pathway Baptist Church. He honorably served in the military for 23 years and retired from the 82nd airborne division. He was also retired from M & M Mars, Cleveland, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory on Monday August 1, at 12:00 noon with the Reverend Harold Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Lee Pritchard, Aaron Pritchard, Dennis Phillips, Mark Beckman, and Bryce Richard serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory.
