Lou Ivy

Lou Ivy, 90, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, September 06, 2016 at the family residence. She was a member of Philippi Baptist Church. For many years she taught Sunday school and training union at Charleston First Baptist.  She was loved by her family and friends.

Mrs. Ivy was the daughter of the late John Logan and Gracie Jordan Weible and was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Henry Ivy; son-in-law, Earl McConnell.

She is survived by her two children: David Ivy and wife, Holly, and Betty McConnell all of Cleveland; 6 grandchildren: Jennifer Clark, Shayne Ivy and wife, Amanda, Sarah Ritzhaupt and husband, Erich, Ivy McConnell, Peyton McConnell and wife, Carissa and Melody McConnell; 11 great-grandchildren: Kailey Clark, Colby McConnell, Whitney McConnell, Cayci McConnell, Ridge McConnell. Lakely McConnell, Brody McConnell, Brylen McConnell, Sabian Ivy, Ivan Ritzhaupt, and Mason Ritzhaupt.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2016 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
