Shirley Lawson

Shirley Lawson, age 80, formerly of New Mexico passed away in her home on Thursday, September 15, 2016.

She was also a resident of Texas where she was involved with Hillcrest Baptist Church in El Paso. She was a homemaker who loved and was loved by her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a worthy matron of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Alice Lees.

She is survived by her husband Delmer Lawson, three children; William (Dawn) Dawson of El Paso, TX, James (Toni) Lawson of Georgetown, TN and Richard (Ashlei) of Athens, TN. She is also survived by six grandchildren; James Shipley, Joshua Miller, Nicholas Kaley, Isaiah Kaley, Nicole Lawson and Scott Lawson.

A private service will be held at a later date. Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory will be handling the arrangements.
