Ruth Elvia Haire

Ruth Elvia Wilson Haire, 77, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, November 01, 2016 in a local healthcare facility.  She was retired from Queen Carpet.  She loved gardening and working in her greenhouse but most of all she enjoyed and loved her child and grandchildren.

Mrs. Haire was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, John Haire; her parents, Carl and Pauline Evans Wilson; siblings, Jessie Wilson, Alvin Wilson and Waymon Wilson.

She is survived by her son Albert Wayne and Melinda Haire  of Cleveland; two grandchildren, Jeannie Brown and husband, Dustin of Ooltewah, and Matthew Haire and wife, Christy of Cleveland; great grandchild, Nolan Brown; step great grandchildren, Haley and Paydon Rosenbaum and Gavin Hudgens; two sisters; Grace Dodson and Reba Fredrick; nieces: Brenda Norwood and husband Clifford and Geraldine Lewis; one sister-in-law, Willie Underwood of Cleveland; several nieces also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2016 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend B.J. Miller officiating.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove ceremony concluding the service. Pallbearers will be Matthew Haire, Dustin Brown, Lynn Cheek, Gale Gatlin, Andrew Neely and Jake Cansler.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
