Louis Roosevelt Rymer

Louis Roosevelt Rymer, 81, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the family residence.  He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.  He was employed with DuPont for forty years.

Mr. Rymer was the son of the late Arthur and Naomi Rymer and was also preceded in death by his son, Jeff Rymer; brother, James Rymer.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Doris Patricia Poteet Rymer of Cleveland; two children:  Scott Rymer and wife, Jeanette, and Shannon Rymer all of Cleveland; 5 grandchildren:  Jeff Rymer, Ashley Gregg, Austin Rymer, Tyler Stanley, and Adam Rymer; 1 great-grandchild, Chloe Page Rymer; 1 sister, Josephine Frazier and husband, Ronald of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be follow in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday at the church prior to the service.
