Larry Eugene Collins

Larry Eugene Collins, of Meigs County went home to be with Lord on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at his home, surrounded by family and friends. 

He was a Seventh Day Adventist and an avid fisherman and talented softball player.  He worked for McKee Foods for over 40 years.

 Larry was the son of the late Ruth Campbell and Howard Collins.

He is survived by his loving wife Linda, daughter Nancy, sister Gayle (spouse Russell), brothers Dennis (spouse Pam) and David (spouse Darlene), 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and numerous extended family members.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Dotson officiating.  Interment will follow in Old McDonald Cemetery with military honors. Raymond Walker, Jordan Johnson, and Lighthouse Baptist Softball Team will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
