Linda Sue Garrett

Linda Sue Crawford Garrett, 74, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in Athens, TN.  She has lived in the Birchwood area all of her life and attended the Church of Christ.  She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Garrett; and parents, Ervin Crawford and Margaret Manning Crawford; and daughter, Gracie Forshay.

She is survived by six children, Sheila (Larry) Edwards of Georgetown, Cindy (Byron) Coffman of Athens, TN, Ann (Jackie) Tinker of Chattanooga, Ellen (Jeff) Bettis of Harrison, Bobby Cole of Birchwood, TN, and  Peggy Sons of Ringgold, GA; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn (James) Kennedy and Vondle (Jeff) Stinnette, all of Cleveland; two brothers, Ray Manning of Blue Ridge, GA, and Leon Puckett of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Jeff Stinnette officiating.  Bagpipes will conclude the service.  Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park with Lebron Tinker, Jeffery Gann, Jonthan Evans, Anthony Wilson, Hunter Munck, Jordan Munck, Lee Cox, and Bryon Dougherty serving as pallbearers.  A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the funeral home.
