Ralph "RJ" Martin

November 11, 1932 — October 22, 2017

Ralph J.”RJ” Martin, 84, a resident of Cleveland, TN, and a former resident of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the family residence.  He was of the Presbyterian faith.  He was retired from the Tennessee Gas Pipeline.  He was a member of the Natural Gas Men’s Association of Houston, Texas

Mr. Martin was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George R. Martin and Dorothy Rhodes Martin; his daughter, Kathrine R. Martin; two sisters, Susan Ferguson and Holly and also a brother, Robert Martin.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Martin of Cleveland; three children, Jennifer Martin of Houston, Texas, Keith Martin of Houston, Texas, Candace Davis of Austin, Texas; three step children, Susan Coleman (Todd), of Symrna, TN, Katharine Stewart (Don) of Winchester, KY, and John Blackburn (Amy) of Frankfort, KY; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. Wednesday at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
