Barbara Ann Funderburk Haack, 77, passed away suddenly May, 15, 2018. Barbara was a resident of Benton TN since 1998 where most of her friends called her miss Barb. She loved going out several nights a week and singing karaoke with her friends. Barbara had a small farm on Alloway Rd this is where her daily chores were done with a loving heart and pure joy for her pets. Over the years she had raised and cared for many large horse’s, miniature horses, donkeys, goats, cows and she especially loved her peacocks that roam freely around her farm along with many indoor pets. She loved her dogs and her parrot. Barbara lived in Bushnell FL, from 1997-2001. Barbara was very athletic as a young lady, bowling on several leagues in Waterford MI often having above two hundred games on many bowling leagues. Most men could not beat Barbara while on the golf course as she consistently scored rounds of 75 to 80, hitting a golf ball 225 yards or more off the tee. Barbara also loved the (catching part) of fishing getting all excited about what was on the end of her line. Barbara was a fan of the resale markets, and antique shows. She always said there is something special here you just need to find it. Elvis was her favorite male singer.
She was preceded in death by her Father Sam Funderburk, Step Father Milton Parry, Mother Lydia Richardson-Funderburk-Parry, brother’s Gene & Wiley Sister’s Lela, Nonie, Betty & Shirley.
Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memories many good friends around Benton TN. She is survived by two brothers, Kenny Funderburk Englewood FL. & (Abie) Milton Parry Pontiac MI. Previous loving husband Lloyd Clarence Haack of Dubois WY. Two sons Clarence Lloyd Haack of Waterford MI, and Howard Edward Haack of Mount Pleasant MI. Daughter in law’s Vickie Carole Lyons-Haack-Nolan & Deborah Lynn Melton-Haack. Barbara was a grandmother to Five children, Kristy Lynn Haack-Martinez, Lloyd Clarence Haack, Robert Nathan Haack, Amanda Lynn Haack, and Felicia Ann Haack. Barbara also had five great grand kids. Alexander Martinez, Gabriel Martinez, Conrad Edward Haack, Anna Marie Nolan, & Aliyah Haack-Nolan.
A celebration of life will be enjoyed at her residence location 114 ALLOWAY RD, BENTON, TN on June 9th 2018 from 12PM till 5PM or whenever it ends. (Please come if you can) There will be a barbeque food cook out and many stories to be told about this beautiful wonderful lady and surely some karaoke songs to be sung to Miss Barb.
