Johnnie Woodrow Floyd, 64, of McDonald, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018, at his residence. He had lived in the Cleveland area his entire life and had been employed at Hardees on Keith Street for 18 years. He was a member of Faith Memorial Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isom Floyd and Elizabeth Hicks Floyd; one sister, Lucille Dixon, one brother Allen Floyd; and one grandchild, Lucas Dylan Floyd.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Joann Watson Floyd of McDonald; five children, Joshua Allen Floyd and wife Rachel of Cleveland, Jason Floyd and wife Diana of Chattanooga, Olivia Floyd and Jerry of Sweetwater, TN, Samuel McGhee and wife Brandie of Dayton, TN, Christopher McGhee and wife Laura of McDonald; 13 grandchildren, Nathan Floyd, Nicholas Floyd, Dawson Floyd, Hunter Floyd, Khristian Floyd, Callie Ann Floyd, Sara Martin, Miranda Martin, Mikel McGhee, Jazalina McGhee, Dalton McGhee, Evoney McGhee, and Braden McGhee; three sisters, Ethelene Graham, Edna Shields, and Naomi Prince; one special niece, Robbin Swindle; and several other nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Dupree and Reverend Larry Green officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the funeral home prior to the service.
