Mildred Imogene Proctor, 82, of Cleveland died Friday morning, at home, peacefully. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a mother and friend to many people in her life, and was always willing to help or give to anyone in need.
She was the wife of the late Tommie E. Proctor; daughter of the late Arch and Lillie Emerson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tommie E. Proctor; parents Arch and Lillie Emerson; sister Ethel Roberts; and brothers Donnie Emerson and Laurence Emerson
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Jerry) Moore Helton of Meigs County, Louise Cain, and Angie (Ricky) Moore of Cleveland; sons William “Buddy” (Freda) Proctor of Meigs County, Norman (Darlene) Proctor of Cleveland; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; sisters Sue, Janie, Ruth, Libby, and Shirley; brothers Dudley, Bill, and Sammie Emerson.
The funeral service will be Monday November 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory with Reverend Jerry Daniels officiating. An Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Ten Mile, TN with Dustin Cain, Matthew Cain, Neal Proctor, Brian Moore, Dwight Moore, and Chad Moore serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Sunday November 18, 2018 from 4:00- 6:00 PM at the funeral home
